cocoa

Cocoa just isn't nearly as good if it isn't over flowing with whipped cream, marshmallows, and all over your face when you're finished.

snow day

We had snow last Thursday and I am ready for another snow day!  We had popcorn for dinner, tons of coffee and cocoa, reading, and movies.  We ended up with 3 whole inches of snow- which is a lot in my city!

Reading

Reading...one of my most favorite things to do.  My oldest is a reader, my youngest can't read yet but already loves books.  I'm still working on my boy.  He loves stories.  He has an unbelievable imagination.  But to sit still long enough to finish a book... well he really does try!

Popcorn

I'm not a writer and trying to find things to say about these photos is a challenge for me!  Somehow I have to let the photos speak for themselves.  We eat popcorn 3-4 times a week, so I'm sure I'll have many more photos like this throughout the year.

BIG

She might not *really* know how to play minecraft, or read, or write stories... but by golly she will try!

Play time!

It's another day-in-the-life kind of blog!  I missed the first few weeks of January so I'm playing catch up.

Often the kids play together but sometimes they just want to do their own thing.

Frances will play with *any* dolls- even G.I. Joe.

I love that sweet face!

Lover of all cats.

A day in the life...

It's been a very long time since I've put anything on this blog...  I had some photography burnout, really more like photo shop burnout.  I love taking pictures, the 30,000 images on my hard drive should prove that, but I hate computer editing.  I'm done with photo shop and for 2013 I'm done with color!  I'm going to try to post my b&w photos with little or no editing each week.  I want to have fun this year and enjoy photography again.
I look forward to sharing a glimpse of my b&w, unedited, grainy(no flash), real life photography.  Enjoy!
